Sign a Petition to Lower Taxes Now!

Right now we are collecting signatures to dissolve Sanitation District 2. This district is spending your taxpayer dollars when the Town of Hempstead could provide the same sanitation services for approximately half the cost.

Once we have collected signatures from 10% of the residents in Sanitation District 2, the district will have to hold a referendum vote at which time you can vote to dissolve the district and lower your taxes. We are also advocating that sanitation workers in the special district be hired by the Town of Hempstead thereby ensuring the employees do not lose their jobs.
